Cookie policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage) we use on the Punkto website and app, and how you can manage them.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your device. Local storage works similarly — it is browser memory in which an application can store data it needs to function, without automatically sending it to the server with every request (unlike classic cookies).
2. What technologies we use
Local storage — necessary for the service to function
- login token — lets us recognize you as a logged-in user without requiring you to log in again on every visit,
- cart contents and the data of a partner registration form in progress — so you don't lose the data you've entered when moving between pages,
- the identifier of the business currently selected in the partner dashboard.
This data is stored locally in your browser and is not shared with other websites.
Google Analytics — visit statistics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (e.g. number of visits, pages viewed, traffic source), and to improve the service based on this information. Google Analytics may store cookies on your device (e.g. _ga, _gid) and process your IP address. This service is provided by Google LLC.
3. How to manage cookies
Most web browsers accept cookies by default, but you can change these settings — block cookies from being stored, or delete cookies that have already been stored, in your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect the functioning of certain parts of the service.
If you want to opt out of data collection by Google Analytics on all websites you visit, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available on Google’s website.
4. Legal basis
Local storage used for the basic functioning of the service (e.g. keeping you logged in) is necessary to provide the service you request by using Punkto. We use visit statistics collected by Google Analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in developing and securing the service; the IP address processed for this purpose is shortened/anonymized by Google to the extent offered by that service.
5. Changes to this cookie policy
This policy may be updated as the service develops or the technologies we use change. The current version is always available on this page.
